$650 million cash + $350 million in tax breaks huh? One Billion Dollars. While I’d love to see some new industry in NY, that seems like a very big price tag.

How many people will it employ, at what average salary? I mean, even if it’s 200 people with an average salary of $50k, you’re only putting 10 million a year into the economy. So in 100 years the investment starts paying a return?

As the article says, they might just be using it as a leveraging point to attract a more lucrative deal from someone else…
