AMD's 1991 Audi 200 Project

Thanks homies. I literally laugh every time I watch that video!

Upgraded the ECU’s firmware today, slight improvement in the “misfire” issue. Meh

how slight

Did it less often. Maybe one time out of ten.

Also, I wanted to tell you I picked up a 10" fan and it fits nice but I may need another. Let me know if you want to scoop me another one.

i will be around until lunch time today, but wont be back until sunday. just let me know.

I have been detailing the shit out of the car for the last 14 hours or so. Should look real nice for Carlisle!

This was my first time doing this in depth of a detail. A coworker of mine does professional detailing on the side so he came over with a ton of products and equipment, gave me a 30 min crash course on how it works and to town I went!

The 200’s paint was REALLY in need of love and this made polishing take FOREVER.

Here were my steps for those interested:

1: Clean car
2: Clay bar
3: Tape molding/trim off
4: Polish with Meguiars 105 on Griot’s random orbital with a orange pad. (4 passes on the hood and roof, 2 or three on side panels).
5: Polish with Meguiars 205 on Griot’s RO with a orange pad (one pass on each panel). The two polishing steps took approx 13 hours almost nonstop!
6: Poorboys Black Hole glaze applied with RO on a gray pad. One pass and let cure for 30mins per panel.
7: Collinite 845 sealant/wax applied with RO on gray.
8: Poorboys trim cleaner/dressing
9: Cleaned the windows.

Then moved on to the interior.
10: wiped down the entire interior with Poorboys interior cleaner.
11: Vacuum
12: Windows

Looking fresh! Any proper detail will take lots of time. 14 hours doesn’t even seem too bad for a 2hunge!

No 14 hours to detail a yacht is pretty good especially for your first time

Looks awesome nick.

sums it up right there.

Sick bud! 14 hour details FTL!

hahaha

I remember a black trans am that took a couple of days to detail… ugh!

Collonite 845 is excellent btw, it’s a hidden secret. Stuff is a SHIELD.

looking real good, i could tell just by driving by it last night, shines nice under the lights

sick, nice products used. that stuff will take care of any paint it seems!

that pic is so SICK
