Probably because the new V10 is lighter than the Iron block 6 from the old M5.

yeah that’s a pretty sick project, I’ve been looking at it for a while. I’m surprised they took such a clean car though. you can get a clean e30m3 shell for ~2k if that’s all you need.

I was gonna say that it was shitty to take what seemed like an already clean and running example. Can’t wait to see it finished too.
