They’re not even close to the same scenario. There’s a presumption that someone entering your house uninvited poses a risk to you. You have a store that you welcome people into. Unless you can tie guy #2 to guy #1, and you need to do better than they both had licenses from the same state and were selling similar items, this is a very serious situation.

Your best hope right now is that guy #2 bails and isn’t able to testify against you. Best of luck beating it, because it’s a shitty situation, but I think you need to start taking this a little more seriously. A lot will depend on your record on the testimony of the guy you ran down, so if he’s a no-show that’s a big help to you.

I will never see guy number too again in my life gaurenteed lol… He isnt coming back upstate to testify lol and thats only if the case goes to trial… Im trying to get off with a disorderly conduct which is a violation not a crime and skip the trial bullshit. Trial is a gamble no matter how much evidence you have and im def not willing to go that distance for a coin flip outcome.

I dont think I mentioned this erither, but I had a witness in my store the entire time, some kid trying to sell a $20 cell phone. He agreed to go to court if nessisary AGAINST the cops threatening him to testify AGAINST me even though he thought I was innocent and did the right thing… another reason cops are peices of shit.
