My battery died on my HTC Inspire tonight while sitting on the table, i got my charger and plugged it into my computer USB… After charging for at least a half hour i went to turn it back on and just got a black screen with a picture of a phone with a red triangle with a !
Tried to do a recovery and goes right back to that screen. the piece of shit was working 100 % before my battery died.
Any thoughts as to why this has happened, what i can do. The phone is well less than a year old.
Thanks Shift
side note ; BUY APPLE ALWAYS , never should have switched :facepalm:facepalm
I’ve always had problems with my phones and since day one have sucked up and paid the $5mo for the full coverage insurance. Im on my third droid 2 :shifty
Yep, buy Apple… that way when something this minor happens, you can cry to the Genius Bar instead of Shift.
LOL I’ve never had to replace any of my Android phones. I replace them to upgrade, not to fix them. My X is still 100% and my Eris was great when I sold it to IAMDERRIK. My RAZR has taken skids across the wet driveway at a high rate of speed without a scratch. My father would kill it in a day, for that I suggest the Casio G’Zone Commando. Not the phones fault, but you already admitted that.
Outdated technology at this point, I wouldn’t say it’s FTW on anything but looks. I have warmed up to Apple in some ways, but I still can’t stand the iPhone. I will say it again. My wife went through NINE iPhones between the 3G and the 4G’s she’s had, all for hardware flaws. NINE.
Yup. It’s a super simple fix. Removing the battery will sometimes help this. It’s not dead, you can fix it. A lot of times the battery wont charge if the phone is in bootstrap or recovery mode BTW.
I love my Droid , have the EVO 4g , I had this problem 3 weeks ago pulled battery for a few mins and cleaned contacts replaced batt and plugged in before restarting it and it did a update and its been good . I just lost my call /text ability but still had data lol did a reset and so far been good .
I never have to bring my iPhone to an Apple store…because it has NEVER had any issues, cant say the same for my Droid X I had before, I was constantly removing the battery to reset it. FAIL. But hey, too each their own!
