Verizon hooked me up with another phone as I was having some issues with my Razor. All my contacts and photo’s were transferred but as usual, I lost my text threads, which have some important information I’d like to have access to on my new phone. The SIM card and SD card were already switched over to my new phone. Is there any way to download the old threads onto my PC and transfer them to the new phone? I need to send the old phone back in the next day or so and any help would be greatly appreciated.

I’m assuming you have a Droid Razr and not the old school flip razer lol…if its the droid the link below should help. If not I believe you can do the same with the MyBackup app in the app store.

You’d need something like this https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.riteshsahu.SMSBackupRestore&hl=en on your Razer. Export to SD card, swap SD card into the new phone.

The backup app WORKED !! I think I even did it remotely without the SD card. I am the smartest man alive !! I just got the last 6 months of my texting life back.
