from a legal standpoint, these cops fucked up hardcore
one, they failed to read you your rights, so anything you told them that night is inadmissable in court.
for two, did they actually SEE underage drinking? i mean, unless there was a 18 year old kid on the lawn drinking with an open beer bottle, its hard to prove from their standpoint
for three, did they ever enter the house? If so, who gave them permission? Only the resident/homeowner can give consent unless something is in plain view/probable cause
at least from your POV on the incident, you have a pretty good shot of coming away clean.
you should have had the cops point to the bottle, or have somebody take a picture of the roadway shortly after you were arrested.
