Sorry to hear, and best wishes to the family. What are the detail of what happened? Judging by the condition of the car I highly doubt he wasn’t doing something stupid.
He was speeding down Rt. 8, hit the pole, then flipped over from what I heard.

I was up that way on Rt8 last night trying to figure out wtf happened and why 2 lanes were blocked off.
a kid from my high school died not too long ago… over thanksgivin actually. he was speeding down 19 in cranberry with his girlfriend in the passenger seat. he had an svt mustang, and went into middle lane i believe, and hit a hummer head on. him and his girlfriend were killed. hearing stuff like this is such a tragedy.

this happened right up the road from where I work. sources say he was racing another car down route 8 and then that happened. so yes he was doing something stupid

I met that girl once or twice before that all happened. Two of my friends were good friends with the guy involved in that.
yeah i knew the guy through my friends. my best friend growing up was friends with him, because he was in the grade below me and so was charlie, the kid that died. A few of my snowboarder friends were good friends with him as well. it sucks just thinking about what these families have to go through

Sure is. Here is the shame of it all - what the kid’s mom is going through.
- Her sister died a few years ago
- Her daughter died at the age of 12 or 13 (she and I were in the same class, happened in 7th grade)
- Her husband died a year after her daughter.
- Her son is what this thread is about.
I can’t even begin to imagine what this poor lady is going through. A lot of my friends are friends with the kid that was killed in the accident, so I will be facing a lot of this over the next few days. :down:
I forgot you know Austin and Tyler and them. I think I met the girl (Jamie?) on or two times before the accident. That’s also a shame.
