Another reason to drive less

According to the Automotive News June 30th edition, tire manufactures have cut back on oil based tire materials and started using more natural rubber, but now natural rubber prices are soaring as well.
On June 1st Bridgestone raised their prices by 10% after they already raised prices 8% in March. According to the article all of the 8 major tire manufactures have plans or have raised their prices.

Meh just buy good tires that last for a long time. You’ll only have to worry about the cost ever ~5 years.
