Yea, i’ve been on roclife for about 2 1/2 years now and i finally decided to join here. I live in Rochester (obviously) and go to school at Kettering University in Flint, MI for mechanical engineering. I’m currently a Sophomore and i co-op at The Gleason Works here in rochester.
I drive a boring 2006 Laser Blue Cobalt LS, picked it up in Feb. and still managed to get about 12,500 miles on it. It’s been to the track once. It was my first time at the track with a standard and it ran a 15.6 @ 86mph with a 2.3 60’
It’s pretty stock due to school sucking up a lot of funds. It’s got a K&N Drop in filter, Bosch Plat-II plugs, and 35% tint. It’s also been debadged and lowered on an Eibach Pro-Kit. (the pics were taken before that was installed)
Right now plans are just for wheels and tires, and basic bolt-on bullshit. Prolly won’t go FI because it’ll end up become a DD/winter car once i graduate and buy something completely impractical, however i change my mind every day and so the next time you see me it may be packin a snail.
i guess thats about it…so hello to everyone and hopefully i’ll see you and some meets.
i know that…unfortuneately…i’m not FIand between those at the K&N filter, i’m somehow getting ~39 mpg highway.
And the reason i came over from roclife was i saw zwarbyt’s post on RL about the bbq and i had been meaning to check the site out and that just was the kicker
