An automatic v6 camaro is not a good platform to build an all around fast car. Can it be done? Yeah, anything can be done with money, it’s just not even remotely close to an ideal starting point. stop the insanity… the fucking camaro would accelerate better than the rx-8, brake on par if not better than 90% of the cars on this forum, and probably out handle the majority due to the weight bias (not a ton of weight over the front axle with the v-6). tripp, you are truly talking out your ass on stereotypes and garbage spewed about for decades. the 4th gen camaros were VERY capable in all aspects of racing… not just straight line loud pedal bashing. andrew (boostin) preferred drag as his mode of choice but to be so obtuse to the facts is pathetic. whether it took a turn as fast as another car on here isnt the point… i could line both your car and his car up at watkins glen, limerock park, or any REAL racetrack and he would annihilate your car due to the shear fact that he could stop the car… turn it and then continue in a straight line before you ever got around him. the rx-8’s are just that balls slow. you obviously have your opinion of the car but it earned the respect of this car forum for what it was… a one off home built turbo kit with the ability to trap 115-120mph, stop quickly and turn remotely well. dont come on here bashing someone elses car/platform til you actually have a clue next time.
