One day YOU SIR will wake up and realize that all these super tyte suspension mods don’t mean SHIT on the STREET, a proper driver would hand YOU YOUR ASS in a STOCK RX-8, right where those super c00l suspension mods count…on a track, you’ll NEVER see the limit of a well setup car until you’re on a track where the limit can be exercised without all the variables on the street. That being said yeah I have a car with a shitload of suspension mods, I’m in the same boat as you…I don’t want some insane highway monster, I like where my car is, and my with some more ‘driver mods’ would shit down your car’s neck. AND it’s 13 years old.
Let’s do a track day, I mean, I know we can’t race and it’s not timed but it’ll be apparent who’s car is REALLY faster when you’re reluctantly sticking your hand out the window to point me by. :nod

And benny, yeah I agree 100%. The suspension mods help but they DON’T make anything automatic. Driver mod is the best mod. That’s the mod I’ve spent the most time with. Sounds good about a track day, limerock or WG would be a ton of fun. What do you say? Auto-x is the only reason I even have the car set up the way it is, but a real track would be a lot of fun right now.
Na6c- I loved the ITR man… I loved it. That car needed a lot more than I could give it at the time financially… The previous owner had a blower on it, then things just got sour after a bit and the car was going to need a ton of money and I needed to have a car everyday for work. Ended up driving a bunch of the new cars, and rx8 felt them most like a drivers car ( I couldn’t drive S2K the thing is just too fucking tiny and I don’t care for the convertible much ). Yeah it’s slightly modified, but a stock rx8 can still rev up to 9300. Before fuel cut.
Actually, if your driver mod is at a very high level… and S2000/NSX driver mod is the equivalent of a ebay air intake… Then yes. You will have a chance :banana

this is random, but a buddy of mine said he was tucked going 90+ on a ZX-10R merging on that long winding turn from Rt. 9 in latham (exit 7 south) onto i87, when a white 90’s M3 flew past him doing atleast 130mph. i can only imagine… this was probably you JClark. he said by the time he got out of the turn onto i87, you were gone.

Not a personal attack, since I don’t even know you, but using the ‘I built it myself’ card in order to determine your car’s not a POS is something someone would say to someone with a better car. Again, not a personal attack, but that’s what your quote reminded me of.
LOL Depends on when. Those were my stomping grounds for suspension tuning last year, but the car doesnt see the street anymore. I do remember passing a few kneedraggers. If it was last year is was prob me but if it was recent, Nick Furchak just bought a white one. That would be my guess.
Edit: Disclaimer: One of the benefits of turning it into a full fledged race car is that I cant drive it on the street and do stupid shit like pass bikes on highway on-ramps. I have shitty self control.
just cause I built it myself doesnt make it a POS or not…im simply stating that I have much more knowledge when it comes to building a fast car then this bone head since I have hands on experience and took a slow car, and made it drop jaws.
