Sick suspension set up on your STi, that thing probably has more roll than Star Jones does. You guys just don’t get the motivation behind buying a car like the RX-8 or S2000. Have fun racing 18 year olds on the highway for the rest of your life, I choose to actually make use of my car for what it is.
Really though, is your clutch still slipping or have you gotten it fixed yet? My friend in an evo would love to show you what they can do whenever your ready to take on someone with similiar mods.

the sti handles remarkably well stock… add 24mm solid sway bars, adjustable sway bar end links, a quality alignment and wider tires (all of which i have) and it handles even better. and for the cars my car cant out corner… i have enough power to motor by most of them on the straights…

AS is technically a faster class.
And Tripp, a straight line is the best way to measure a fast car.
Throw a turn in there, and you’re measuring a fast driver.
Tein springs with tokico dspecs, racing beat front and rear sway bars and endlinks and JIC magic front and rear strut bars all to go with an awesome alignment. Thinking of ditching the front strut bar for a 4 point AUTOEXE piece to stiffen it up even further.

To an extent a straight line does measure the performance potential of a car, not disagreeing with you on that. Check out the TeamRX8 car in the STU class from last year, completely outmatched in power yet still hung in there will full fledged cars competing side by side…

no issues with you til u start running your mouth. that is all. i think rx-8’s handle nice but they are BALLS slow. there is a reson mazda was forced to reevaluate the power output of them when they first came out… 241hp my ass… they get rerated at 227hp or so and still put down 160-165hp @ the wheels… thats weaker than a 4 cylinder tiburon (not really just making an emphasis) props for doing something with it but dont make outlandish claims that it will beat my car or ANY sti. the rx-8 is a mid 14 second car trapping 92-94mph… the sti is a 13.0 car trapping 100-105mph… it just AINT happening.

and were they FORCED to give every single person who bought the first model yr rx-8’s free oil changes for life (pre re-evaluation) due to their faulty marketing? they did that to try and cover up their bigtime “oops”
