Maybe if you actually had to work for a living, and didn’t have daddy pay for everything when you were growing up you would realize how things really do work for lower income families, and not sit on high telling people how it actually is. Amazing how the people that have never been poor know exactly how to help those who have been and then made something of themselves through determination and hard work, something that is becoming extinct in the country due to people like you.
CNN did a research based report, that’s why I quote it. Dude, enough with the personal attacks; I work harder than most people and while I was lucky to get a LOW LEVEL starting position at a company that was founded (and no longer run by) a relative I’ve EARNED my spot there today. I work for a for-profit company and handle a great deal of responsibility; if I was bad at my job, I wouldn’t have it.
While my family hasn’t been poor since I was 5 (I was born and spent my early child-hood in an apartment, then a 800 sq ft house; we didn’t move into a 2000 sq ft house until I was 8), that doesn’t mean I can’t understand other people’s problems. By that standard you should vote for Obama who’s mother was on food stamps instead of McCain who’s lived off the government just about his entire life and now lives is extreme luxury.
I’m on unemployment for now. It is enough to cover my basic expenses for now, and I am getting by. Thats what happens when you have a seasonal job and get laid off early. I just went on unemployment like 3 weeks ago becuase I was working for my dad for about a month doing fall cleanups and whatnot after I had been laid off. To be honest, I HATE being on unemployment. I like to wrk for my money. Call me retartded but I would rather work hard and earn my money than suck off the system. Call it self satisfaction. oh, and I have health insurance…I set money aside to pay for it to ensure I will be covered for a while after I got laid off ;).
It’s funny that your party would like to make it more difficult for you to get that unemployment that you now rely on.
