Any artists and creative minds

Well I posted a few weeks back I burnt my leg and had to have skin graph surgery. The skin graft took very well and is healing great, So once it’s healed that mean tatoo time.
I’m stumped as to what to get tho. Any ideas or cool drawings someone has. I don’t want anything that doesn’t have meaning. I want this tatoo to kinda represent I learned my lesson for playing with fire. Its a large area to cover as well. So I’d have it start just above my ankle, wrap around my entire leg and go almost to my knee.

I’m a burn victim

that’s what it looks like healed? if so, that sucks hardcore.

get flames around your ankle, and DON’T cover all of the scars. it will add to the effect.

no thats what it was like after I had it scrubed down with a brush. The skin just kept blistering back up. Healed it saurda looks like a fence. The skin was taken from my calf and then they stretch it out by cuttin little diamond patterns in it. It looks like shit and i have to hide it.

sounds very painful. Tried any ointments/creams for faster healing? creams with vitamins A and E would work well. (remember that for when you get a tat, if you didn’t already know…)

but, if you were playing with fire, I think a flame tattoo would do well to remind you to be more careful, you pyro. hehe

As for total coverage, I don’t have anymore ideas…

Haha cool well thanks for teh suggestions. I was thinking that to having flames around my leg coming up. But all I have is black inked tatoos, none with color yet.

They actually mesh it, they aren’t diamonds, but slits, that allow the tissue to expand when stretched;)

Wow, thanks Walter.

Hey man, good to hear that the healing is coming along alright. Just wanted to throw that in here, I have no real suggestions for the tattoo.

I make medical devices for a living, I know all about skin graft meshers and dermatomes :hay:

am i the only one wondering how the hell it happened :open_mouth:

No, but we have respect/courtesy not to ask.

Haha. My jeans cought on fire by a camp fire. They literally combusted, before I coudl even react my entire pant leg was up in flames. I went to the ER and tehy just busted teh blisters and gave me soem creams. The burn then became infected and I had to have a skin graph surgery. Cool part tho is when they did teh skin graph surgery part of it requires all the burnt skin to be cut off my leg. When the dr cut off all teh burnt skin he found a 3/4 of an inch peice of shrapnel I still had left over from when i was in iraq. So he kinda killed 2 birds with one stone you might say.

didja keep the piece of metal??? pics!!!

barf. I would wait like a year before gettin that Tat’d. thats gonna be mad sensitive for awhile.

Maybe you could incorporate a picture of the piece of shrapnel into the tattoo. ??? Maybe with flames coming off of it???

get flames and then people falling into them, kind of like hell.
