what so wrong about free blacktop? I know concrete is better, but free vs. $$$$ is an easy one for me to pick.
You won’t find anyone to do a 1000sqft area for less then $5500.
I called about 5 different people. On average it was about $5.50 sqft. Good luck getting it for $3.00sqft but considering you don’t have a existing concrete pad to break up demo might be less. If you do let me tell me who it is ill call them in a heart beat.
I have to do my driveway and garage pad… Garage is 24x35ft = 840sqft and driveway about 1500sqft
Long driveway 100ft x 15ft.
and my price quote was $13,000 (garage pad was about $5000) and that was the cheapest! Lol

The quote I just got was $4500
It would have just been one layer and they said I’d need to do a 2nd layer and reseal frequently. They estimated a cost of $1000-$1500 for the 2nd layer.
I figured the cost of concrete wouldn’t be too much more since I’d be paying something either way, the concrete driveway will look better against the other concrete (sidewalk, driveway apron), and it will hold up better and longer.
ah, so it’s really like they were going to give you 1/2 off… gotcha.
