Rules that they follow:
vlad:
#1 - Find the tag and reproduce the photo (as best as possible). The first person to grab a found tag gets to place the next tag . If you get a photo, but somebody else grabs the TAG first, you lose. Give a few hints so the next person can figure out where the tag is located. Make the clues clear and easily understood.
Try to place the tags in interesting locations, maybe a bit of history and that can be found down some nice twisties.
#2 - Go to a new location and park your car/bike in front of something, get the photo and post it here. Give a few hints so the next person can figure out where the tag is located.
#3 - Tag must be a) findable and b) may be placed on a dirt road if a street car/bike can make it. Maintained gravel is OK, but make sure to let folks know that gravel is required to get to your tag. We don’t want to exclude those who don’t like to get dirty. c) Accessible for more than a few hours during the day (i.e. a road is only open 2 hours a day = No Good. Location is only open on weekends = No Good.)
#4 - File photos are NOT permitted . You gotta drive/ride to play this game.
#5 - Your car/bike has to be in the TAG picture
#6 - No whining
#7 - The person who is responsible for posting the next tag has 48 hour to do so with the exception of foul weather (heavy rain, snow).
#8 - Should the tag holder fail to post the new tag within the 48 hours someone will need to get the previous tag and post a new one within 48 hours. New tag will be made.
#9 - Stick to the 518 area code. A little bit outside is allowed but make sure you clearly state that your tag lies outside the area.
#10 - Make sure you take the picture or at least describe in details as to where you hid the tag so the next person can find it.
#11 - Try to hide the tag in a location where it won’t be found by a random passer-by and grabbed. If there are trees/bushes near by it’s a good call to hide it there. The tag is small and not flashy so it should be easy to hide it at almost any location.
#12 - You have to have the physical tag in your possession to claim where the next tag location is going to be, and you will have to hide it from plain sight in the new location for the next person to find it.
This could be fun with how many members we have in the WNY area as well as across NY (it could easily be stolen and taken to Rochester, Syracuse, Albany, or Canada!)
Yay, Nay, Suggestions?

I changed his name back lol.
I think that this could be a good game of hide and seek while exploring the local area and capturing some sweet pics.
I can see it now…tag gets put downtown…nobody goes to get it.

No whining? Good luck with that. But it does seem novel.
