I had a question for the deer hunting guys at my work but nobody could answer it
a lot of them have 10-50 acres they hunt on their own land
are you allowed to kill deer however you want on your own property? Specifically can you jump down from a tree and use a machete to kill them

My understanding is that all laws still apply. I’ve also been told DEC officers can circumvent search and seizure… without a warrant.
Why bother with sword hunting. That’s even lazier than hunting with projectile weapons.
