any of you OBD II guys run open loop all the time?

For that past year or so I have run my Typhoon in open loop all the time, it is OBD I. I haven’t had any issues at all except for highway driving it will sometimes hit a rich spot, but ive pretty much worked out alot of driveability issues.

my typhoon runs open loop on a Saudi chip all the time…but it also doesn’t know what a knock sensor, o2 sensor and egr valve is.

the atr chip runs closed loop-i dont use this one as much

-all i know is the open loop helps me run faster in the quarter
