With the addition to all the folks in NY and Canada. Who rides snow mobile’s, what do you ride, and where?
I rode a few times last year and loved it. I am currently on the hunt for a Arctic Cat Crossfire to do some trail and mountain riding.

2004 Ski-Doo MXZ 800ho.
Winters are awesome up near my cottage, we’ve ridden to Montreal and back over week one year, was interesting.
AlmostBrett on NYSpeed races ISOC and has been to the X-Games:
I’m sure he’ll give us updates once his season starts again this year
Nice Sled! What lead you to the Ski-Doo brand?
hmmm… Perhaps we should setup a weekend to do a meet in Canada. Could be a good time rolling through the trails up there. I heard they are awesome.
That’s awesome! The snowcross and freestyle are one of my favorite X games to watch! My wife even got into it last year
99 ZL600efi I don’t ride far or that much. Evertime I go out its $100. I don’t think I’ll be out this year with my shoulder.
In '05 it was a decision between the '05 Fire Cat or the '04 MXZ.
One of my dad’s co-workers at the time was moving south and wanted to get rid of his sled. Paid $4000 including a trailer in '05 for that sled with only 200 KM on it - couldn’t pass that up at all.
My father bought an SXViper 700 2 years prior to that, sank it, then bought another one. In 07 I think, my brother picked up an identical sled to mine and last year my step-mom did the same. A family of sleds lol. My cousins are on the same boat. 4 of them ride Ski-Doo, 2 of them Arctic Cat. They’re on the '09 trains though so slightly newer.

The trails last year were horrible because it was so wet.
The ruts where huge and even on a sled capable of handling such conditions it sucked.
I’d LOVE to rip out to Quebec again. Nothing in Ontario’s northern regions come close to those trails.
If I can find a good deal on one, I’d like to pick up an iq 440.
Whitey - I got a few co workers that sled. They talk about a place called Potato City, I think it’s in PA somewhere. Might be worth checking into.
KuntryQuestTSI - since we’re new you may not have seen this post, check it out. I have had a couple Starions in my day.
This one was my favorite: 355 SBC with a 150 shot.
