my car is a 90 240sx with a ka24e first off.
heres my problem: my car will only rev to 5000 RPMs in 3rd and 4th gear and 3700 in 5th gear. when it hit that area the car jerks violently so im assuming its a fuel cut out then once it drops to 3000 rpm it will run fine.
i am either thinking its the MAF or an o2 sensor? any ideas?comments:confused:

last i checked yessuh. you can get it tested too, i had mine tested once, they drill a hole in it to see if its clogged.

can be a number of things i say try the fuel filter first wont hurt you to change it

i just changed the fuel filter about 2 weeks ago!
i was reading on 240sx.org that when the MAF goes bad that it puts the ECU into safety mode and wont let you rev high.
my car has 180k :eek:

im hopefully gettin there but i got to prepare the car for it first with some suspension, LSD and brake upgrades plus funds arent where they need to be!
