Audi figured it out a few years ago… Subaru and Mitsu havent yet.
That’s what I was thinking, they should have an STi coupe…or at the very least OFFER a sedan STi as well.
Of course the new one will obviously perform well and drive great, but it terms of looks they should’ve offered a sweet looking sedan and/or coupe as well.

I can’t believe the SST Evo X got it’s ass handed to it by all the other models. Wasn’t that transmission suppose to be the transmission to end all transmission? Fuck paddle shifters, they suck on the track and they suck on the street.

All under Warranty and tons of trophies

If you do get the STI, re-program the base map with the Cobb AP v2 stage 1, you’r motor will thank you later! (Read: they run lean, just like 07’s)
I like the look of it. Either base or STi.
The reason they went to hatch is for Rally purposes. Less overhang past the rear wheels, means less ripping off the rear end on trees.
The numbers look good…2,866-pound, 220hp, 6-speed manual & under 20K (U.S. probably)…not bad.
I wonder if by then people might be more inclined to Auto trader some used 135/335i’s and/or 350Z’s, G coupes, E46 M3’s and the like…who knows.

the hyundai will be cheaper, more established and have a strong used market and aftermarket… they beat everyone to the punch.

I’m on the fence with them. The looks are hit and miss. The body style is iffy since it looks like a focus, but the wheel flares and general styling is decent.
The body size kind of sucks IMO though. I tried to convince my gf’s dad to take a look at one, and he basically looked at it and said no. First, they said it looked like an economy car. Second, they said it didn’t have enough trunk space.
For the price of one of these, I’d probably be much more inclined to pick up a Pontiac G8 GT. Those things just punch babies.
I was just over on tsc and i checked out some modded sti’s and my god do they look good. they went back to their roots, i know, the car might be a bit cheaper but its finally light, small, compact.
