Anybody forum members with a laser/plasma table?

I need some tabs cut out of 16g stainless. With some simple lettering done along with it. Any forum members with a proper laser/plasma table? The lettering size will be about 1x1 letters with cuts that will be about 1/16-1/8 away. If possible. I know I’m asking a lot.
Most places either can’t help me or want nothing to do with it.
I have a vector file and can supply material.

could it be done on water jet?
we have world wide water jet as a forum sponser?

Pretty sure I had a friend talk to him a while ago. Too small.

How small are you talking? Pretty sure Mike can make almost any size of anything. I mean if he can do this…

… he can probably do what you want.

I honestly don’t think a water jet would have any issues, especially with a properly trained programmer/operator. I was doing features under 1/16" back in the early '00s on a water jet without issue.

Jay hit up Will LiveRound

Brett Kelly’s friend? If so, he cut something for me already. It sucked.

Pretty sure Will has a nice plasma table

There is nothing nice about a plasma table. Plus the kerf will be too big. Laser can probably do it. Water jet probably not.

Yes. Generally speaking. Plasmas suck. Hopefully shifty can help me out.

Custom Laser

Just watched this and thought of you @BREETIME

damn^

“Lasers”

I wonder how heavy the apparatus is. I see it suspended by a hoist to reduce the load.

I am amazed by it’s ability and scared of the average idiot who might try to use this in the course of daily work. Industrial accidents with something like this are probably pretty gruesome.

I has a laser but I stay clear away from letters they make me rage…

^^This piece looks strangely familiar.

Dan

I have a guy that does our CNC plasma cutting. He runs a small shop locally, will do short runs and not rape you on price.

Since you gave no specifics on cut quality, you would need to speak to him to see if what he offers works for you.

One example i found quick that shows thin detail in the cut.

Plasma cutting isnt used for brain surgury metal fab, but thats why its not laser expensive either.

http://www.fishersmetalart.com/ hit them up and tell them Mike from CRC suggested them to you.

I need that handheld lazer. Great way to cut cars up.

My only concern is super sharp inside corners because a water jet will leave a .025" radius, other than that I can hold great precision. A laser can cut sharper inside corners.

PM’d you breetime

im surprised I had that pic still dan haha
