I’m really considering picking one of these things up…
I really can’t justify paying 60 bucks or whatever for cable at my place, and I barely watch 5 minutes a day.
I’m thinking of setting one up on my dads extra directv box at his place, then just controlling that from the internet.
A couple questions…
Is the quality half way decent?
Can I get a full screen video?
Any problems with dsl on his side, and time warner on my side? I’m worried he might not have enough upload speed…
I’m thinking of putting a 24 inch lcd in my den, and just watching slingbox and itunes videos on it.
