I had some electrical done by an electrician friend that is an excellent electrician and did everything to code, but he is not licensed in the Town of Amherst. The inspector told me to contact a licensed electrician, have them inspect the work, sign off on it, and that would be good enough for them. The Town of Amherst Senior Electrical Inspector already looked at the work and said it’s good work, just that a licensed electrician has to be on the permit. Anyone able to help out? I’ll pay whatever you need to make it worth your time.
The guy who used to carry my permits has moved out of town (hence I do less side work) but he used to charge $150 for the use of his name. More of an FYI than real help.

I’m surprised, it sounds like they were being decent. Amherst can be a pain.
Ive used DSL Electric - 716-380-6722 in the past for some remodeling in Amherst & Williamsville (still have to get electrical permit from Amherst)
