Do it.
Do it now.
Wow…smoking deal there.
best thing that could happen to one of those cars
poor dude, he’s so close
damn right it wont blow up, thats gm reliability right there
how much boost will that thing hold before requiring internal work?
ohhhh thats beautiful!
just out of courosity how much can you pick up a decent FD shell for?
Hmm, maybe if someone buys my s2000…even though I love it now haha
shells run for between 5-7k
a mint 94 R1 shell is probably around 8k
a POS 93 base model shell can be bought for 4k
i just find it amusing that, if these cars are so great with that swap, why does everyone end up selling them. i’ll keep my good ole 13b, thanks
ya know i seen a bumper sticker of that in cali last year, i’m regretting not buying it
ya know, it’s really not a bad price for what you are getting, i just don’t dig the swap.
Come on now Jay =)
You know some of the time the people selling these cars are people who did all the work themselves and didn’t properly account for how much the swap was going to cost in the end. It’s not inexpensive to do at all.
You have all these domestic swap kings coming into the torque-central v8rx7 forums talking about how they bought a shell and the engine, but didn’t account for all the other costs, and now are looking to dump their project.
then there are the other people who finish it and then try and sell for a profit
to be honest, if i had the time and the tools, i’d be building these cars just to sell anyways! you can build one of these pieces for 17kish ( minimum, stock, finidng good deals and used parts ) and sell them for over 20 easily!
the last group are diehard draggers who sell their cars when they find a mint GNX for sale or something else… or they then get a family
 but what do i know!
just my .02
that car looks like it rolled off a cliff. except everything stayed on top of the cliff besides the drivers seat.
hot swap. When driving around in my car, im pretty much wishing I was sitting in an FD shell.
