How much would it be to take the truck back to where you picked it up at? It may be worth the extra travel hassels?

If we did a local rental, we would go over the allowed mileage and have to pay like .60 a mile, it would be cheaper to do a one way because it allows 1 day and 60 miles, which would be plenty

why does it have to be one way… the way you’re talking is that washington pa is 500+ miles away!!! lol… just rent one from pittsburgh, drive to washington to get your shit then drive it back when you’re moved.
It doesnt have to be one way, but it’s about 40 miles from here to Pittsburgh, so to make an extra trip just to take the truck back would be kind of pointless when we can rent one from washington and drop it off at pittsburgh and not go over the allowed mileage. It seems that uhaul is the only one that has trucks around here and doesn’t charge per mile. Also, some places are closed because it will be new years eve.

We have family with pickup trucks, but the couch alone takes two trucks to haul. So by the time we got enough trucks, and paid for a tank of gas for each truck it would be just as cost effective and easier to rent the uhaul and make one trip and be done with this shit.

rent uhaul on mcknight road… drive to old house, load up drop off at new house return to mcknight road. It would probably be around 100 bucks plus gas. I dunno that seems pretty cheap to me

A 17 foot one way uhaul will be $87, and i think we would have to fill the gas tank when done with it. So unless someone we know has a box truck about that size, one way rental seems to be the best option.
