Ahh no problem they can be re-drilled and tapped with a larger bolt, or go heli-coil. But it will be a fun time finding the fine thread pitch in a heil-coil, it would be easier to re-tap with a larger standard metric thread pitch. I know what i’m talking about i’m a MTBI (Toolmaker).

Will, I think what he meant was using a tap and after drilling the opening flat using it to make new threads. I dont really think you need to helicoil this opening since it doesn not have much depth to it nor is it that important. I think tapping new threads would be easier as well.
