Nah, a lot of those movies are newerish. And the convenience factor mixed with the 2 DVDs through the mail, make it a nice thing to have.
Its nice to have but the quality of the movies they have on the streaming is really poor. You def need a DVD plan.
Every movie iv streamed has great quality.some are even in hd and I only have dsl
Quality of the movie itself. I stream some TV show DVDs from netflix to my tv and come in high def. When I had the 1.5 Mbps DSL, the streaming sucked so you should at least have a 3Mbps DSL connection.
Streaming looks great on my 19 Mbps cable. 
BTW, I check my account settings and they don’t hand out the “invite a friend” codes anymore.
