350-500mhz they wanna trade for a beer/drink sometime? this one keeps freezing and driving me crazy.
i know i have a p2 350… let me look around.
all i use this computer for is emulating snes games, mp3s and being on the net. the processor i have is a p3 450 but the damn thing is so unstable i set the jumpers to a 450 celeron and she’s a little more stable, still freezes at least 4 times a day tho
I have a bunch laying around here at work. I will verify after lunch. Probably range from 450 - 800. I will have to verify some of the faster ones because I don’t know if they’re ZIF sockets or slots.
this supports up to a 500, that would be great if u had one of those

intermittent lockups could also be the memory. Hope your problem is a simple one.
it’s not memory i’ve gone through i dont’ know how many dimms trying to sort this out, it’s jackies old computer, it def is less stable (like locks up every 2 min) when it’s set for the normal processor speed…if i underclock it it’s more stable but still does it

also you are talking about the processor that plugs in upright correct? like its another board?
yeah the book here calls it slot 1 i always knew it as something else but i can’t remember what that was…it’s been like 5 years since i used one like this.
I have a few PGA to slot 1 adapters at home if you need them by any chance. Sounds like whitey got you covered though.
my good computer back in i’ll say june bit the dust with lightning, popped the caps in the power supply and went and fried my 60gig hard drive, my motherboard, and my cd burner. i havne’t had the money to fix it still so jackies step dad gave me this one to tool around with, it’s been bearable till about last week it started freezing while doing just about everything, i can only underclock it so far u know
someone hook me up w/ a cheap dvd burner 
p2/3 slot processors are like 5-10 bux on ebay, i just figured i’d try local before paying somoene 20 bux to ship the stupid thing…
yeah… just need to figure out a way to get it to you… don’t see me heading out to BWW tomorrow since i only get home usually at like 8:30
