Sounds like it’s more strict than Dunnville, but not to the level of a performance driving school.
A little over 3 hour drive from my address in Williamsville, NY according to Google. Looks like an easy drive with the majority of it being on I-90.
Gates open at 8am, day ends at 4pm.
Track sessions are 20-25 minutes.
Events are on Fridays, so the M-F crew would need to take a day off work.

I’m definitely going to do one this summer. I figured I’d throw this up here and if some people who had done tracks days with me before wanted to coordinate a date and drive down as a group we could.

They are fun, but you do occasionally end up with a day with more downtime than run time due to motors popping and people crashing.

I love the place though, despite the awful pavement and limited run off room.

MPD… have you done their fun days before? How many sessions do they normally fit in?

I’ve been watching some youtube lapping vids and it looks like quite a few cars.

I’ve been out there for one fun days, and have a few friends that used to go fairly regularly. When I went it was open track with a break for lunch.

I’d love to go this Friday, but I don’t have a tow vehicle for my unproven car. Are you going? I’m 95% sure it’ll be okay.

There is one next friday the 17th that would work for me if you want to go.

Nelson Ledges Track Day

Where: Nelson Ledges Road Course- Garrettsville, OH
When: Sunday, October 10th, 2010

Gates open at 7am, lapping starts at 8am and ends at 5pm

Cost: $100 Per Driver

Spectators, family and friends are FREE!

Nelson Ledges is a two-mile, seven turn road course, with a history of sports car road racing. This event was created for the amateur sports car enthusiast; low performance cars and club racers. Experience the thrill of “Track” driving in a safe, controlled atmosphere. Participants will be grouped based on skill. Groups will run in separate 20 minute sessions. There will be 3 sessions per hour.
