they are supposed to wedged like that. I would know. Saltwater motors have to have water pumps replaced every 2 years.
to be honest. the one side looks like its not wedged in enough, it looks really loose
edit: in that second pic, the left side doesnt look right, between the inlet/outlet ports. The bottom right does however look right.
