Waterpump pulley rubs oil pump housing?

I just replaced the oil pump on my motor because it has a hole in the front case and had a bad leak. The old front cover had wear in this same spot so there is no way its the front cover as well as the crank cause i replaced that as well. It has to be the waterpump or the pulley cause the belt wont line up cause the pulley needs to come out an eightth on an inch or so. And its definatly not a KA24 one. Water pump also looks to be original so I would guess its the pulley.

Can you shim the pulley out enough to clear?

looks like your waterpump pulley is off by just a bit stick some washers in there

ya but there must be a reason, i dont want to use washers as a fix when i really should not have to. If i really have to i guess i could but i want to look into it first as it should be an easy fix.

maybe its off a S14 sr20 thats my best guess

anyone have a pulley from a S13 redtop or blacktop??

ive got one off a KA-E if thats the same ?

somebody know a link so i can find the fsm? i cant find it

I want to check my timing chain to make sure it didnt skip a tooth while everything was apart.

fsm for what ?

i have a redtop you can buy parts off if thats what you need…
