Anyone know why these cars on kijij havent sold?

another thing that commonly happens (other than rotted rails) is,
cars have body pannels in deacent shape making you think its mint, but once you put it up on a lift you find out it needs:

  • new inner/outer tie rods all around
  • new control arms
  • new bushings
  • new lower ball joints
  • new rotors

and its totally possible that the owner doesnt even know about this.
sweeet, you got well over 2g’s in repairs to even get it safetied. price usually reflects the condition of the car, keep that in mind

i’ve got all the spare parts/motors/tranny’s brakes in the world… just need a car to throw everything on… plus i can do it myself… if your spending 2 grand to change some bushing and tie rod ends then theres something wrong.

if you’re getting it done at a shop its a lot of work dude, and many hours in labour. just changing lower ball joints is ~300, let alone paying for new parts like new arms etc…

if you can do it yourself thats great and will save you lots of money, but not everyone can. and unless you get it fixed, good luck getting legit safety. but if all this doesnt matter to you then nvm you dont really ned to worry about any of it, i just know this from my personal experience at shops
