I know it’s an NY forum and I’ve lived in Buffalo all my life but I’ve read some posts by people living in other states so I’m just curious.
I got an engineering job in Houston so I was wondering if there’d be any Yankees from NY down there with me.

There were ton’s of transplants down in Dallas I would imagine the same goes for Houston as long as you live in a nice area.
Edit: Although I don’t think Houston and nice go together well…
Yea, we’ll see how it goes. I’m working for WesternGeco, a branch of Schlumberger (slb.com). Seems like a huge and growing company, but again they do R&D for oil companies and we’ve seen the prices of oil lately so that doesn’t surprise me.
If I don’t experience this at my age I never will so I couldn’t pass it up. I talked to people that work for National Fuel here in Buffalo and they said they’d instantly hire you if you have experience with Schlumberger so I plan on coming back up here soon cuz well the economy and weather is just phenomenal 
Oh yea, and the Bills are awesome.
