It is with great regret that I put my Camaro up for sale. The other day I was out for a drive when the temp gauge started acting funny. I decided to head home and try to diagnose the problem, but before I got home it overheated and shut down. Currently it is not turning over. My guess would be the water pump or thermostat went bad, causing the overheat.
I just don’t have enough time to work on it, so I’m offering it up to a good home.
History of the car:
For the first 15k of it’s life it was garaged and kept in showroom condition. Before it was sold to a dealership. Soon after a woman looking to pick up a younger man after a divorce bought it, but after 10k miles, she hurt her back and couldn’t deal with the lowered car. She did get in a fender bender in it, which just required a new front bumper. She sold it back to the dealer she bought it from. I picked it up with just around 26k miles in spring 2003, and have babied it ever since. I had it with me at college for 2 years, after which I bought a beater and kept it in a garage for the last 2 years, taking it out for nice weather. It has seen nothing but excellent weather conditions for the last 2 years.
Modifications I have made:
Performance:
-GMMG chambered stainless steel cat-back exhaust. I’ve never heard a better sounding exhaust on a LT1
-Pro 5.0 short shifter and short stick
-SLP Cold air intake
-Motive 4.10 gear ratio, professionally installed, NO gear whine at all.
-SPEC stage 2 clutch
-Mecham power oval chrome exhaust tips
-Weld-in BMR subframe connectors to improve handling, reduce rattles, and increase power transfer to the wheels
!!Updated: forgot about these when i made the original posting:
Front brake upgrade which included:
-Knucles and calipers from a 98+ Camaro, PowerSlot rotors, Hawk brake pads, painted calipers (red) with silver “CAMARO” vinly applied between the color and the clear coats. Also, stainless steel brake lines, front and back

-Chrome 18" Z06 replica wheels, tires have less then 4k on them, never did a burn out in them.

-Stainless steel, laser cut, mirror finish Z28, CAMARO emblems, and front badge. The Z28 emblems say 5.7 LT1 on them.
