Anyone looking for smaller side jobs?

I have an Integra that isn’t registering a temp and the cooling fans don’t go on. Prob just the temp sensor or needing to be bled but I dunno. Worked fine till I put sealant powder to fix a leak. Also VSS sensor code throws from time to time so likely a junkyard fix there.

I have a civic that was fine, till yesterday. Drove and sounded like something was dragging/clicking. Looked and nothings dragging. Maybe something with wheel bearing or rear drums?

Another civic I need a code pulled and whatever is wrong fixed to eliminate CEL so it can pass inspection.

PM with thoughts on prices please. 0 for 3 with cars LOL!
I need to get these done asap.

Thanks,
Mike

The Teg may just need a new Thermostat and Sensor…? The VSS should be a pretty easy fix. Personally I would get a Autozone/Pepboys replacement. Sometimes the ones sitting in the junkyards are shot…from sitting. Mositure craps up the contacts.

Others can chime in about the Civics if there are re-occuring problems with them. IDK much about them.

What year civics? I have a code book but don’t know if it would apply to these cars depending on year.

1999
I haven’t checked the code yet myself. Supposedly the O2 sensors were replaced. As she was told “2 of 6” O2 sensors. LOL. So clearly the dude was an asshat ripoff. :frowning:

I’m reluctantly going to sell the teg. :frowning:

As for the CEL on the 1999 civic it’s a EVAP error. P1457 was the code.
I’ve read the shut valve is the common culprit but don’t want to buy parts if they are not needed. Maybe it’s canister itself? Hrmmm.

Carnut is doing the 2001 Civic for me. Front lower control arm bushings were SHOT! Could this mean I have 1 working car??? OMG. :mamoru:
