Well, a while back I read about a neat little “mod” (use that term loosly) called multi-theft auto for the PC version of the game. It was pretty limited and could only do races and such.
About a week or two ago I stumbled upon “GTA: San Andreas Multi-player”

I gotta say… it’s pretty damn bad ass. They have a bunch of different servers (death match, RPG, Racing, ect) and thought I’d see if anyone here wants to give it a try.
You can create your own gang (or play alone), buy property, deposit your $$$ into a bank for safe keepings, do side missions, save your progress, ambush rival gangs, ect, ect, ect. Surprisingly, most of the maps are HUGE too… all I’ve seen are modified versions of the originals
it’s honestly a feature that they should of included in GTA:SA from the get go. All the fun of GTA without a story line.
