Tentatively selected and hired on the spot are not even related.
I work for DHS and have heard of status canidates for DROs and INV officers but never heard of a person ever getting hired right after a test.
I meant with the compressed test you get your score same day… Then you begin the long process of “trying” to get hired.
Passing that test just allows you to apply for the job…
no one gets hired on the spot…the only difference with the “compressed testing” is that you get your test results on the spot and you get scheduled for your oral board interview…a process which takes an extra 1-2 months if you don’t take the compressed version
n2o, if you are applying for air interdiction agent, thats fucking awesome…theres a bunch of those guys doing their firearms training here now and they are all super cool to talk to…plus they make some serious bank too lol…
I never knew they offered that. How do you get to take the compressed test? Guess I learned something new today.
from what i recall, it was an option on the application when choosing your test date…but that was a while ago lol…
