Hey, my friend with a 94 stang with approx 720 hp, saying he is prtty quick, anyone from TNC wanna show him wat nissans are made of?
I assume he has a full roll cage with full suspension and probably running on DR’s?.. If so then none of us really stand a chance against him in the quarter…
But if he is running with minor suspension upgrades with larger tires…
I bet a 400+whp Z could take him, this would of course have to be from a dig…
…now I wonder who has one… :hmm (Gone’n’60sec’s…):drivin
Dont beleive he did any major suspension/body mods.
i think a fairlady can show him aswell:A :A
or even a gtr. not mine though. i have people that would be willing to step up. definitely not on the street though. cayuga is already open.
Like RealityZ said…
When I do my swap I might be up for running him on a course. I’m looking for 400RWHP when I’m done.
I don’t think there’s any point right now.
there is if its a race around richmond hill.:R :drivin
hahahaha no races around Richmond Hill right now.
Actually, I know Scarbs a lot better. Run me in Scarbs and there’s less of a chance for the competitor.
ill do it. and also my teacher would liek a run at him too with his S cobra.
first off, i have no clue where you’re getting your power figures from … my car is stock secondly, even IF i was pushing 400 hp, you do realize there’s a 300 hp gap between that and 720 hp
are you refering to the mustang or the time attack against patrick?
He’s saying that the mustang can have lots of power, but it can’t reach the Zs handling. 300HP difference may not mean anything in tight twisties if he has to go slower than the Z with every turn. He can come out of it quick, but going in and turning will be hard
sure, but when have you heard of a mustang guy wanting to race through the twisties? more often than not, especially if he’s pushing out 720 hp, he’s probably setup for pure drag …
steering wheels on mustangs are purely for show
the 94’s came with a 5.0 litre which is a heavy motor, and they’re heavier then the fox bodies… a Z has an all aluminum V6 that is lighter then a KA and it sits inside a fairly light body. i think the weight differance + wider powerband would make up for the hp gap… just not enough though if the stang is setup for drag, which it definatly would be at 720hp. that kinda power is too much for a 2WD track car. a well built skyline would be better competition.
as for mustangs that turn… they’re out there, we built and worked on them when i worked at boss racing. some really nice ones. my cousin owns a 400hp NA fox body that turns 1:30-something’s at mosport.
the cheap power to money ratio of the 5.0 litre makes the mustang the car of choice for budget drag enthusiasts though. i doubt there are many cars out there that could go as fast for as cheap.
I wonder if my friend with 600+whp Z can try him… He should have it all tuned and ready by early May.
Dude… I just gota say.
Nice signature.
Furthermore… I think almost everyone agree’s on here when I say… F Mustangs.
im looking at you APS TT Zs

=)
Do you have dyno numbers to prove this?
Also at 720hp there would have to be mods to the suspension and body
that much torque would eventually tear the car apart.
the FORD S CORBRA was what i was referring too
tell me what his 720hp 1/4 mile time is mid 10seconds car?
