hahaha zelda was great! i need to play it again.
So, this thing is worth spending $300 on? That has been the only bit holding me back so far. I don’t want to blow a decent load on something that will collect dust after a month save for the random drunk game here and there…
RE4 is pretty sweet too? What else is going to keep me interested in this “investment”?
I am all into party games and shit, I STILL play Mario Party with friends and shit on gamecube.
Only game I really play is Guitar Hero 2 for 360, I never touch any of the other games except when I steal them from Robherself
Nintendo Wii is meant for people like me, its not about hardcore graphics and what not, just about getting 4 people playing something and drinking some brewha’s

if you are a social person, then absolutely.
We have 1-4 visitors to the house on any given day. The Wii inevitably gets used 4-6 hours a week… sober or not. Of course there are times when its untouched for days, but its a great crowd pleaser at times.
It is not at all for “gamers”, strictly entertainment. FWIW
I think it was a good purchase. I don’t play it as often as i wouldl ike to but since i moved i really don’t have it hooked to a good tv and that takes alot away from it.

in my opinion it’s not. wii sports if over rated. if you and your buddies want to drink and have fun, wii sports is cool. like i said, so is a deck of cards. zelda is fun, but it’s available on gamecube, and there are certainly better games on more practical systems.
seriously go to the store and just look at the wii games section. if that is something you can get into, go for it. people either love or hate the wii, but what i’ve noticed is people who are not serious gamers tend to like it.
my room mate was able to come across one when they first came out. we played the shit out of it for 2 weeks. he put quite a few hours into zelda. beat that, and then the PS2 was hooked up again. the wii didn’t get used for literally months. i just started playing zelda a couple weeks ago. i’m the first one to really use it since january.

Kinda what I figure what would happen if I bought one. I might be happier with a X360 with guitar hero and whatever that alien shooting game is. Played it at my friends a couple times and it was cool.
