If the 997s (non-turbo) drop in price like the 996s, I could do that in 4/5 years. But there’s no chance in hell I could buy a 997 at this point.
Honestly the draw of the C4S is that it’s drivable in the winter, shit even a plane S is driveable in the winter. The evo paint is fine aside from rock chips and cone scars. I really like the idea of driving a fun car all year round, hence the evo…
What can you pick up a decent 996 for? I remember when I was looking at my car I could of got a c2 993 for low 30s, c4s were about 5-10 higher, turbos were out of my reach.
996s are 40-49 for a reasonable car (not uber low or super high milage).

I guess I could afford a turbo, but I couldn’t afford to do anything other than drive it to work, home and then sleep (no food or booze). And I’d have to quit gambling and smoking, which only an Enzo could make me do. So in other words I couldn’t afford a turbo.
Sure there driveable in the winter, but salt ruins cars inside and out.
I would go with a 993 C4, xanders dad had one and it was a beautiful car. Fuck what you think of the interior, its not as bad as it looks in pictures. Its all about the function, as I mentioned before. Damn I want one now.
I know, I’ve driven one before and I loved it. It’s not that I hate the interior, it’s just that the 996’s is SOO much better, and it’s a newer car priced within a few thousand. I mean I will own a 993 at some point…aiya I need to hit mega millions so I can just buy cars
