and 22 more kids
22 more kids would be ridiculous aaron come on
i worked at geico for just shy of a year and it was absolutely the worst fucking job ever after training. every day i would go in miserable and come home miserable. not to mention i lost my voice at least once a week, plus you deal with the biggest scumbags from nyc, nj and ct on the phone. the job is call after call usually like 2-3 hundred in cue on an avg day.
the plus is i got a shift which was 4 ten hr days it was the only thing i liked about the job.
my suggestion is work there for 4 months or whatever it was until training is over then quit. its easy as shit, and pretty interesting at times plus you get a decent paycheck/benefits.
feel free to pm me for more dissapointing news on the job you are looking atā¦
lol walker well done
there it is
lol @ walker.
think u worked with my GF too.
lol win.
I have a phone interview there tomorrowā¦
meh.
a job is a job.
bad job is better than no job.
I heard it was like working in a call center concentration camp.
Terrible job, decent pay for Buffalo.
whos that?
just to let you know i took a whole month off with no pay before i started my new job just cause i would rather be poor and lazy than work there another day. just take heed of my advise sir. after you are done with training you will want to quit.
100% correct
Out of curiousity, do they go through many employees?
Ahh I see I see. Right now Iām on unemployment, as I have been since Novā¦ But Iām bored to shit, so Iām trying to get something to keep me busy until the construction area picks back up from this ghettoness of the economy.
How was training? was it bearable?
Because Mid April-May area is when Iām looking at being back to my regular work.
Hell, I have a drug test for Valvoline tomorrow. Going to work there for 8 bucks an hour changing oil just to keep busy -.-
I think soā¦ But walker would know more than I.
Since they are always spamming radio commercials saying that theyāre hiring.
My friend works there and love it. He just does customer service. Makes a decent amount of cash too. Iāve never seen him pissed off after work.
what is ādecentā pay?
$15+ hr. Heās only 20 so thatās pretty good for his age I guess you can say.
This is the email they sent me, then when I called he said the same thing as part of his speech.
Starting Pay $13.97 per hour/ 28,140 per year NON-NEGOTIABLE
10% NIGHT DIFFERENTIAL OFFERED FOR 2ND SHIFT
i think they said 33,950/yr for 2nd shift (which is what i wanted)
edit; he did say a long list of benefits, but said that during the phone interview that stuff would go in to detail.
so im not sure how much health insurance they pay and such.
the turnover rate is fucking outragous
training was good. kind of boring but you at least get paid and learn how ins worksā¦it lasted like 4 months i think so when your other job picks up just leave lol.
it will happen. trust me the breaking point will come.
Heās right around the 2 year mark lol.
whats his name? he would have started right after me lol.
geico blowsā¦they take forever to settle accident claimsā¦waiting over a month to get a check to fix your car isnt right. on a side note, apparently working for them blows as well.
For some reason I cant help but draw a comparison between Geico and Wal-Martā¦
