Apartment Type

I’m in an attic apartment, my roommates parents occupy the house below. It’s great, it’s dirt cheap, etc. But his dad likes to yell a lot for no reason (I’ve woken up so many mornings to “GOD DAMN COCK SUCKING MOTHERFUCKER SON OF A” because he can’t find his keys or so mething). The layout BLOWS. my room is off the living room, so if my roommate is in there (like he is now) I can hear them in my room, so I can’t read this fucking book. And my room also has a door to the bathroom (also one in the hall), so it wakes me up whenever someone goes in there. I like my roommate, and this place is so cheap (300 for everything, cable, wireless, heat, elec, etc) but it sucks not having any privacy.

loft

I live in a loft

where is the choice of parents basement until you come up with a big enough DP to BUY a house

or the option to build a pole barn w/ 3 car garage/ fully furnished apt above on my fathers property?

hahahah the infamous 21st birthday bash for shrew and myself.

however you did forget to mention the terrible leaks in the roof and my room always seemed to be like 20 degrees colder than the rest of the house…oh and tward the end when phil kept walking in and turning our heat down…:spank:

all in all it wasnt a bad way to spend the first 2-3 years of living on my own right out of high school.

For those of you that have tried complex living, which complex did you live in?
I’m looking at something like Stoneybrook or Idylwood. Both seem pretty reasonable and located around where I need to be.

Seems a lot easier to just buy a 60-70k home though.
payments would be cheaper than an apartment after 20% downpayment… and you’d actually be investing -.-

None of the above…
I live in the original apartment style. Over a business. Its nice and quiet. Lawyers offices are usually not very busy and not very noisy. There’s nobody downstairs after like 5pm. My building is about 150 years old so the brick walls are almost soundproof. Huge old fashion windows(10 feet tall). Few neighbors.

I also have a personal laundry room in my apartment with new washer dryer, and 1000 sq ft for $475 in Lancaster…

My next door neighbor just moved out. Her apartment is $425 a month. She has washer/dryer. 1 bedroom. two double closets. Door onto flat roof.
