Are you talking about TMobile or ATT?
ATT coverage every where I have traveled is just as good if not better than Verizon from my experience. You will always have dead spots for each provider and maybe you live in one but I personally have not had any issues with coverage anywhere I have been to since I switched.

Bordering EDGE and 3G I get them. I think its right where the phone holds on to 3G with barley any signal and wont switch to a full signal EDGE. New software should fix this (again)

I have never had a dropped call but have noticed using google maps it will go to zero/really low signal 3g and not switch over to edge a lot and causes havoc with maps.
Yep, same here. The funny part is it still shows your route but it’s drawn on a blank grid.
