Finally went through and watched all the stuff Josh has posted and I’m just not seeing the appeal at all.
same, but i’m glad others do. we will know them by their actions.
My cousin left Microsoft after working on everything from the first xbox to hololens, now he is working on these. Unfortunately, no friends and family discount.
Is this cool?

Ok, now we’re getting somewhere.
Imagine doing this real time with radiograph imaging
AI should be doing it, it’s way better then a human
but who will the lawyers sue?

i think more likely is ai and robotics are going to put half the people out of work and live on their vr
Will it put them out of work? Or will they decide to not work, leaving more opportunity for everyone else?
Also, how are you not convinced this will catch on now?

that will probably be a chicken or egg scenario, but one way or another itll happen
The worried-woke are starting to see issues…
Stuck on a crowded bus? Delete everyone and replace them with the first-class cabin of a jumbo jet. Hate intrusive billboards? Replace all the commercial images with soothing vistas of your choosing.
But what happens when the technology gets good enough to delete, say, homeless people? Or Pride flags?
The real potential here is the ability to see the invisible informational metastructure of the world — translation overlays; pop-up tags that display people’s names and pronouns and where you know them from; walking directions;
I hope the homless delete option is linked to the sidewalk poop locator app.
What if you could change everyone’s skin color?
Say for example…to all white?
What if you could have a public speaking app where everyone you see is naked.
Scratch that. It probably already exists for “public sp**king”
How would you know when it’s time to cross the street or walk a little faster to your car?
