especially when you get on the base…dont even think about going 5 over the limit youll get dingedi belive the speed limit is 50
Actually in most places it is 40… but yeah, use your cruise control boys!
Ill be t the Tim Hortons at 8:45. Call me if anything goes strange 405-0293
I’ll be there, dude!
That was AWSOME!
Yup, I really enjoyed it. Thanks to all the guys that let me hop in their car for a ride around the track. Cant wait until the next event, I think its July 10th?
Should have some pictures later tonight…
HA HA HA…Flavio is hooked. He’s got a new lady friend - and it’s called burned rubber.
Everyone that said they were going to attend this event and didn’t REALLY missed out. There were only 10 cars there, and I’d bet everyone got at least 15-20 runs in. The track was really fast too - and I drove home with a new respect for the Brembos and handling on my car.
Lou22 - glad you could ride along! Can’t wait to see the pics!
NECC members cars, or 10 cars total including the RX-7 club?
10 TOTAL cars. We had 3 NECC cars there - Flavio, Bryce, and mine. We had the strongest club rep out there - only 2 guys were there from the RX-7 club.
10 cars including the RX7 club. And of those 10 I belive only 9 of them actually made laps.
There was Flavio in his cool 240. Kris in his Sentra, along with another Sentra. A 2.5 RS Impreza, a Prelude, a 1st gen RX7, a really quick Miata that left half way through, a Talon that only made 1 or 2 laps, and a 1988 Supra.
Oh right, I forgot to mention Chasenyadown - he was there beating up on his Spec too.
SHUT UP GUYS I MADE A LAP, i got up to 160 when we were putting cones away :E
as to flavios new lady friend what about that chick at subway… props to kris and his weird comments.
all in all i was super glad i came got to ride around in the cars, and kris how about you buy me a coke and call it even seen as i still have a gradutated licence and if i get pulled over with any alochol in my blood i lose my licence
lots of fun and no car damage (other than tires) cant wait to see the pics
Bah…ok Bryce, a coke it is.
Yeah, the chick at Subway looked happy to see the back of me. Just like every other woman on earth! :E She looked pretty offended when she said stepping on your pants isn’t good (referring to hers) and I said “Why not, they’re doing it in Compton.” She gave me the strangest look…
Yeah, wow, I couldn’t believe how much of the shoulder blocks came off the Conti’s in just one day - wow.
Anyway, I think we need to start a “Let’s buy Bryce a car so he doesn’t have to sit on the sidelines and watch next time” fund.
I’m curious to see how my Sentra would do… I’ve never slalomed with it yet. I may have to try it at at least one event this year.

The Specs do really well. :o
NECC Represents
Kris and his cool spare.
Yeah, today was crazy, I had no idea my car could do as much as it can, to bad the continental’s look like race slicks on the front now, I hear my car was making it about 4-5 inches off the ground on one of the rear tires depending on the corner. I wish I could see a pic of that.
I bet someone managed to get some tripod action on film! After all, we showed it off all day long…
Heres some pics…
Kinda disapointing, but it was my first time using a digital SLR. A digital SLR that wasn’t even mine. Thanks to Dave in the Supra for that.
For some reason I cant post in the 780tuners forum, so if someone could post these pics in there for me that would be awesome. Thanks.

Hey dude, there are some really nice shots in there!
Why did Flavio get the bulk of the spotlight, huh? j/k
Anyway, I posted a thank you to the RX-7 guys and a link to your photos, which you can find here:
