so ive been watching ebay recently for a few key parts for the 240 project, most of which ive added to my “watch” list
5 seconds remaining on something i was looking at… price: 150 for somthing worth more like $250, due to the sellers lack of salesmanship
fios was up to the task at hand, but the fact that my computers been running for almost a month straight = laaaaaaaaag
i missed getting my bid in by about 2 seconds …
fuck me …

.
wasnt intentionaly trying to snipe it, i simply expected it to go for more and didnt realy consider it untill i saw the current price
the near final price made it a very good buy, and therefore i tried to bid in the time i had
if i was actualy trying to snipe it, i would have actualy managed to snipe it. been there, done that, pissed other bidders off in the process
and i never bid early, it just gives the other buyers more time to up their bids, lol
you guys are right, so totaly should have used my remaining 5 seconds FOR THE AUCTION I DIDNT INTEND TO SNIPE to sign up for a snipe service to place the bid for me
get a decent pc. <3 auction sniping.
ebay even has a built in sniper program now… ftw
