when you wait til the last minute you can win the auction for the lowest price possible. If you put your max bid in way in advance it will most likely get beat and you will have to enter a new max bid and so on. But sniping you also run the risk and not beating the winning bidders max bid and getting screwed, but it’s worth the risk.
Bidsniper is a good one, never lost an auction using it. it bids like 7 seconds before it’s over

eh, seems rather pointless
most people start putting bids in around last 10 min or so anyway, so software or not, they will try to outbid each other
it’s not like it’s just you and the other guy, if you don’t raise it, someone else will.
it takes a while for ebay to post your Max bid.
If you get a software that puts in a bid right before its over the max bid wont have enough time to bid for you so you’ll lose.
there are ALWAYS exceptions (duh), but sniping will let you win the auction for the cheapest price at least 90% of the time.
not pointless at all. Pretty easy concept. If it’s pointless than how come the vast majority of people here snipe or use sniping site and software to win auctions? I would never bid on a item days in advance with my max bid and just let it sit.

I never do either, I place my bid when there’s about 10 mins left or less, and unless nobody else wants it or it’s misspelled and nobody found it, people start bidding like crazy in those last 10.
so with or without me using software, the price skyrockets. by the time it’s over, most people will bid as high as they’re willing to go.
