don’t know the part number, but i know it is available for the ka24de as shown by the previous link. you might want to contact that supplier and ask them for the part #.
If I remember correctly the KA uses a certain generation of celica headstuds.
It’s just like with the SR, most places will sell you SR head studs but you’re really getting the VW 1.8T which retail for less.
Just looked it up, I guess the KADE studs that are being sold are really eclipse and saturn 1.8L studs.
I’d research and find the exact part number and buy them from a larger arp supplier this way they don’t get marked up an extra $30 US like most performance places would do simply because they can sell them as KA studs which are probably higher in demand.
Interchangeable parts pretty much.
ARP doesn’t make an application specific to what you’re looking for but there are alternatives. The headstuds from those motors use the same thread pitch and length so they work perfect. Performance shops turn around and label those studs as KA and people will pay out the ass for them.
Like for my SR I bought VW studs and saved about $30. The only difference in my situation is they actually have the SR listed as an application but they cost way more for no real reason.
mine should be at my house tomorro i think i payed 210 or 220usd for main and head and can get them for you at the same price. i can get Clevite main and rod Bearings for 75. it came to a total of 320usd shipped for the bearins and bolts. and then 35cnd duty fees becaue he maked them of a value of 50$
The guy who got the Saturn studs ordered from ka24de.com. When he received them he cross referenced the part number and it was for a saturn. He probably got charged way more than say summit or some large supplier sells them for.
I’m not 100% on this as I never built a KA but It only makes sense since there is no listing for the KA.
